To become a GLOBAL VOLUNTEER, choose a Sustainable Development Goal and a country of your choice, primarily Argentina, Brazil, Cambodia, Mainland of China, Colombia, Finland, Italy, Poland, Tanzania, Uganda and Vietnam to go on exchange and work on a 6 to 8 weeks project to give a positive impact to the local communities. You will be experiencing leadership development, establishing global network with volunteers from across the world and creating a story worth sharing for a lifetime throughout this programme.

To become a GLOBAL TALENT, choose an internship that suits your future career prospects as well as the country you would like to work in, primarily countries from North America, South America, Europe and Asia from 3-18 months. You will be experiencing a diverse and cross-cultural working environment, establishing global network with your employer and fellow employees and boosting your CV for future employment.

Global teach

Undoubtedly, education is the key to success. If you are interested in the education field and passionate about teaching and feeling compelled to give back to the society by passing down your knowledge to the younger generation, this project is something that you definitely should consider. Lasting from 3 months to a year in a school would give you a better insight towards the importance of quality education and how it can help fulfilling humankind’s potential.

Never underestimate the potential of a startup as Google started with only two people. If you are eager to find out more about entrepreneurship and how start-ups take off, this project would be a great stepping stone to move yourself forward in becoming an entrepreneur. Lasting from 8-12 weeks, this entrepreneur internship would give you a better insight towards the nature of the business world by experiencing the challenges firsthand.

Am I eligible?

As long as you are 18 to 30 years old you are good to go!

 

When is the best time to go on exchange?

The best time to go on exchange is during your summer break as you might be worrying about how to spend your summer effectively. Afraid not, Global Volunteer program has got you covered, it provides you opportunities to experience difference cultures and make an impact to the world through a 6 to 8 weeks project.

 

Is there a fee?

Yes. There is an administration fee of £450 which includes support from exchange managers both before and during exchange, outgoing preparation seminar before you go on exchange, incoming preparation seminar when you arrive at your destination and your project during exchange.

 

How about the transportation and accommodation?

You have to sort out your own flight or any other means of transportation before the project begins. Accommodations are usually provided and you would be staying with a host family, in an NGO’s accommodation or student hostel. These are subjected to the nature of your project.
