6 STEPS TO VOLUNTEER ABROAD
Start creating your account when you sign up on aiesec.co.uk. A representative will get in touch with you, alternatively, you can start exploring for opportunities on our opportunities platform right after signing up.
Apply for a project
Once your profile is complete, start applying for opportunities on our opportunities platform. To maximise your chance of success, we advise you apply for more than one project opportunity. On average, we recommend you to apply for 10 different opportunities.
You’re accepted! Don’t give up if you were rejected for a project. You’ll get accepted onto the right fit, we believe in you! Remember to practise for your interview.
Pay our administration fee of £450
Once you have been accepted onto your project, log in to your account on our platform. Find your chosen project under “My Applications”. Sign the Acceptance Note (AN). If you haven’t, fill in the Leadership Development Assessment (LDA) survey. Click the “Pay now” link which will redirect you to our payment portal
Attend Outgoing Preparation Seminar
We organise Outgoing Preparation Seminars, both physically and virtually. Find out about safety measures and align your expectations in this seminar.
It’s time to kickstart your journey! As flight price is not included in our administration fee, we recommend you book your flight between 27 and 114 days before you are set to depart.
