6 STEPS TO VOLUNTEER
  • STEP 1

    Sign Up

    Start creating your account when you sign up on aiesec.co.uk. A representative will get in touch with you, alternatively you can start exploring for opportunities on opportunities.aiesec.org right after signing up.

     

  • STEP 2

    Apply for a project

    Once your profile is complete, start applying for opportunities on opportunities.aiesec.org. To maximise your chance of success, we advise you apply for more than one project opportunity. On average, we recommend you to apply for 5 projects.

     

  • STEP 3

    You’re accepted!

    Congratulations!

  • STEP 4

    Pay our administration fee of £450

    Once you have been accepted onto your project, log in to your account at http://opportunities.aiesec.org. Find your chosen project under “My Applications”. Sign the Acceptance Note (AN). If you haven’t, fill in the Leadership Development Assessment (LDA) survey. Click the “Pay now” link which will redirect you to our payment portal

  • STEP 5

    Attend Outgoing Preparation Seminar

    We organise Outgoing Preparation Seminars in various regions of the UK to ensure you are well-prepared for your trip. Collect your Exchange Participant care pack, find out about safety measures and align your expectations in this seminar.

  • STEP 6

    Exchange Abroad

    It’s time to kickstart your journey! As flight price is not included in our administration fee, we recommend you book your flight between 27 and 114 days before you are set to depart.
