We are AIESEC in Bristol and we are currently based at University of Bristol. Being one of the founding members of AIESEC UK, we were established in 1953 and have been active ever since. In 2016/7, we currently have a membership of 40 members who all work to strive towards achieving peace and fulfilment of humankind’s potential. Have a flick through the tabs to see what we offer!
Global Volunteer is a 6-8 weeks volunteering programme that is open for anyone aged 18-30. All our projects are made to tackle the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals – you can read more about how AIESEC and the UN are working together here.
If you want to know more about Global Volunteer, we have a presence at University of Bristol during term time. We hold information stalls around The Refectory, Richmond Building (Students’ Union) as well as consultancy spaces. To learn about our events, please go to AIESEC UK’s Facebook page.
If you are a student from Southwest England (you can check on the right hand side) who is keen on volunteering abroad, you can direct your queries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
“I personally went on this project last summer and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be fully immersed in Thai culture. My project tackled SDG #4, Quality Education. I spent time teaching at a rural school and incorporating English into their school curriculums. That aside, during my time off I got to travel with other volunteers on weekends and I had a lovely host family who provided me with Thai food everyday.” – Keira, Law student at University of Bristol
