AIESEC Cambridge operates across all 31 Colleges and in Anglia Ruskin University. The Local Committee is highly diverse with both undergraduate and graduate members reading a wide range of different disciplines from Economics to Natural Sciences. We are a highly committed team dedicated to helping each other develop our own personal skills and providing unique global opportunities to as many students as possible.
The Committee has grown substantially in recent years with 2009/2010 being our most successful yet. Last year we accepted fifteen talented individuals onto the Work Abroad Programme and provided them with experiences in countries such as Togo, China, Uganda, Norway and New Zealand, to name a few.
During the year we also run a series of high profile events such as Cambridge Heat of the AIESEC UK Leadership Tournament, sponsored by Ernst & Young. This year we had over 25 participants with two teams advancing to the national finals in London.
Finally we are also well connected within the university, working closely with other societies such as the Humanitarian Centre and are recognised by the Careers Service. Outside of the university we are also creating strong links with local businesses and entrepreneurs.
All enquiries can be sent to our Local Committee President, Thomas Zhu, at cambridge@aiesec.co.uk
