AIESEC Belfast comprises students from two universities: Queen's University Belfast and Ulster University Jordanstown. We are the only Local Committee in Northern Ireland and have very strong links with a variety of organisations and charities which operate within the region as well as the Belfast Chamber of Commerce. We are a Local Committee of excellence. In 2010 we were recognised as a strong Local Committee within the Western Europe and North America network. Furthermore, we are the most improved Local Committee in AIESEC UK from 2009 to 2010. The national network has also recognised us for excellence in communications and best culture over the same year.
In Belfast we offer students the opportunity to become a member of AIESEC. We also offer all students the opportunity to attend our skills workshops and also to participate in our global Work Abroad Programme. 13 students have successfully been accepted onto the programme through AIESEC Belfast in the last year. These students are undertaking a range of placements in Turkey, Russia and China to name a few.
AIESEC Belfast is accredited under the Queen's University Degree + Programme.
