What is the Go Global Programme?

Globe

The Go Global Programme is a scheme run by AIESEC UK which helps you to find paid internships or voluntary work abroad.

As a registered charity, we can offer you a unique international experience, which is low in cost but high in value.

Once you have applied and been selected, you gain access to our database of over 15,000 international opportunities and get the chance to choose your own experience! Because we have a rolling application process, you can apply at any time and your start and end dates can be tailored to suit your availability (anytime between 6 weeks and 18 months!).

AIESEC supports you through choosing your experience and provides you with advice before, during and even after your international internship.

And the best thing about AIESEC's Go Global Programme is that it's run entirely by students and recent graduates from around the world! We're a registered charity in England and Wales (no. 274779) and we're here to provideyou with the opportunity to live and work in another culture for no other reason than to help you develop yourself in a global environment.

Please note: Even though we are run by students and recent graduates, we have a support network of experienced advisors and trustees, who help us maintain the professionalism of our 60+ year-old programme, ensuring that the safety and well-being of all exchange participants is considered appropriately.

What support can you expect from AIESEC when you go on your internship?

One of the main benefits of going on an internship through AIESEC is the support network that you will have, even in a foreign country.

Once you have found your traineeship, we provide ongoing guidance andsupport before, during and even after your experience.

AIESEC members will pick you up from the airport where possible, and given sufficient planning in advance via email, make some preliminary arrangements for accommodation and bank accounts.

You may also be invited to Local Committee meetings, where you will be able to share numerous anecdotes about your life in your home country with the local students, and interact with other interns from all around the world.

How does AIESEC get these awesome jobs?

AIESEC members all over the world meet with local businesses, schools and voluntary organisations and work with them to offer placement opportunities for international students and graduates.

By having local representatives on the ground all the time in over 110 countries, we can ensure that we are constantly finding new opportunities to add to our database, ensuring that we offer you as much variety to choose from as possible!
