International Placements

AIESEC in the UK brings over experienced graduates from overseas to work with UK companies and organisations. This is as part of AIESEC's global exchange programme, in which 4000 graduates participate every year. The programme is run by students at 23 universities around the UK.

We bring over graduates with typically at least a years' worth of experience in the areas of Management (marketing, finance, sales), Technical (IT, engineering) and Development (charity). The graduates on our scheme are from 1100 of the world’s top universities in 100 countries. Our graduates wish to have a challenging experience, perform an advanced role in an organisation, gain international experience and immerse themselves in another culture.

This is what your organisation gets:

- A Bachelors degree or higher.
- 1-2 years of working experience and specialist skills: people who can hit the ground running
- Excellent soft skills: AIESEC graduates have been involved in running our programme while at university, gaining strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility. Choose the start date and placement length (between 2-18 months) you want: the scheme is ongoing
- No hassle. We handle accommodation, work permits (we are OISC registered), flights, bank accounts and look after the trainee while they here. All you worry about is what matters: the contribution the graduate makes to your organisation. You can carry out a telephone interview with candidates and request sample work, a motivational letter, references etc. to assess the candidate.
- You pay the graduate what you want so long as their expenses (including rent) are well covered
- Long-term recruitment. The placement can be a trial period and many of our graduates have been employed permanently by our current clients, due to their invaluable contribution.

We charge a fixed £1500 + VAT for a 12-month placement to cover our costs of finding candidates, work permits and our full-time National Team in London.
