'Joining AIESEC has been one of the highlights of my university experience. Through my participation in the organisation I have helped run and coordinate our international exchange programme, facilitated at a regional conference, been part of the selection panel for the National Team of AIESEC UK, managed a local committee of over 20 members, and went on exchange to Turkey.
In Turkey I spent a summer working in an NGO teaching English to young children. My AIESEC experience has helped me improve and develop countless skills, and my time spent in Turkey has really enabled me to become more culturally aware and taught me to adapt into new environments.
The people I have met throughout my membership have formed such an important part of my experience at university, and without such important relationships, it truly would not have been the same experience. It has been life-changing.’
