What need were you seeking to address when AIESEC contacted you?

We wanted a graduate with skills in software engineering to work on a specific project to reduce carbon foot printing. The graduate would have the chance to gain valuable UK experience at the same time.

Did AIESEC suitably address the need?

AIESEC provided high qualified candidates who fitted to what the company was looking for. Our company was in the expanding stage and AIESEC came at the right time to give us the quality graduates we needed.

What is the profile of the intern working with you?

Pranay is a graduate of Software Engineering from the P.S.G. College of Technology, India. He has experience in the area of software development and has previously worked in several companies in India. Pranay has a good command of English, as it is his native language. Pranay’s background, was technical rather than business-orientated, however, at Encraft, he has been involved in the marketing and business aspects of software products, which is a new experience for him.

How long have you been involved with AIESEC?

We have been involved with AIESEC since December 2006. It has been a very positive experience so far and we are now willing to extend the traineeship for the full duration of the project.

What has been the major benefit to your organisation of working with AIESEC?

It has opened our eyes to people who are well qualified and with a lot of potential who add value to our company. The fact that Pranay comes from India also adds diversity to our company. Our experiences have been very positive with AIESEC.
